Championship Gold & Coastal Luxury: Sydney & Anthony’s New Year’s Eve Celebration

There are weddings that follow a script, and then there are weddings that redefine the genre. When WWE Intercontinental Women’s Champion Sydney Zmrzel and Anthony Luke decided to tie the knot on New Year’s Eve at the La Playa Beach & Golf Resort, we knew we were capturing something iconic.

The day began with a sophisticated "Coastal Lux" palette—a refreshing departure from typical NYE glitz. Sydney’s vision of butter yellow accents, delicate Chinoiserie patterns, and ethereal tulle created a soft, vintage romanticism that contrasted beautifully with the power they both bring to the ring. From the custom yellow piano riser on the Gulf-front lawn to the hand-painted Dom Perignon bottles, every detail was curated for an elite experience.

The Cinematography: As a cinematic filmmaker, my goal was to capture the duality of the day: the delicate, quiet moments of Sydney getting ready and the explosive, "main event" energy of their reception in the Vanderbilt Ballroom.
